So many ideas, so little time, right?
It’s the creativity paradox: business admin and creative inspiration often cancel each other out.
Which sucks when you’re running a creative small business needing BOTH of those things, (and then some)!
You might be managing to do it all, and keep all those plates spinning. But was replying to emails from your ‘relaxing’ bath and spending hours on Instagram every weekend really on your vision board for your life as a creative entrepreneur? “Doing it all” is possible, but not without a large dose of overwhelm, pressure and guilt over lack of family time.
Can you relate? I want to see you striking a balance between family and work. Feeling enriched and inspired by both. Absolutely owning your talent and creating a thriving business from it.
Because it is possible.
I’ve run my own business, worked in live TV and high-pressure executive assistant roles – as well as the most-stressful job of all, motherhood! So I understand the juggle.
But I also have some preeeeetty nifty organisational skills that have helped countless creatives reclaim their time. With me as your right hand woman, we’ll release the pressure of tasks you fundamentally do NOT need to be doing.
I’m always honest and open about the realities of being a mum and a business owner.
The thing that fires me up (OK, other than when my office stationery matches my decor) is seeing other mums with big-arse brains maxing out their potential – in life and in business.
Simply put, I take on the tasks that steal your time, sap your creative energy and distract you from the things you created your business to do in the first place.
If you’re reading this and thinking, “Yeah, yeah. All that sounds like a pipe dream,” know that it doesn’t have to be. The first step is relinquishing a little bit of control and letting go! Can’t hurt to try, right?
Fellow creative control freaks, I’m here, ready and waiting for you…
Oh, and because I know you’re mainly here because of that Lady Gaga teaser… here you go. Some highlights from my TV career have included:
→ Remaining (mainly) cool as a cucumber when Lady Gaga and her entourage placed ever-increasing demands on me backstage on a prime time Saturday night entertainment show!
→ Coordinating the The Royal Variety Show on live TV – no pressure!
→ Annnnnd running down the Southbank to find Jeff Brazier minutes before his live TV appearance. In a crowd of people. In central London. In a bomb scare… (FYI, I pulled it off)
